Fauve is the French word for wildcat, such as a panther or a jaguar. It is easily understood why Heidi chose this name for her design. For her sweater is without frills, elegant and with smooth, straightforward lines. Heidi designed Fauve to put the focus on the special character of the yarn and the colour. The design is deliberately kept in a clear, pure manner, with refined details that ensure a flattering fit and a graceful look. For Fauve, Heidi selected NL's La Parisienne and Silk Divine held together. The pattern includes the instructions for the sweater and a slipover version.
