The enchanting NIITTY CARDIGAN is a design by the Afro-Finnish designer Jenny Ansah.

NIITTY has everything one could wish for. It is stylish and generous, it is bohemian and dreamy, it is soft and cosy.

Niitty means "meadow" in Finnish - the lush, opulent pattern of the cardigan with lots of texture, was inspired by flowers in a meadow. While knitting Niitty, you can literally watch the flowers grow!

Knitted in Nature's Luxury ON STAGE - SHORT STORIES, the NIITTY CARDIGAN is guaranteed to become your wonderful new favourite garment. NIITTY will draw all eyes on you and looks just as good with jeans and a t-shirt as well as layered over a dress.

Jenny's original sample is knitted in our colourway La Femme du Boulanger, our version (in which we have omitted the button band) in the shade All Summer in a Day.

We recommend a positive ease of 25 - 40 cm to your actual bust circumference (measured at the body).

The kit includes the yarn. Pattern and supplies are not included.

The NIITTY pattern is part of the autumn collection in issue 15 of Laine Magazine and is published therein. The instructions are in English.
